Aleit Swanepoel – Managing Director, The Aleit Group

Dynamic, ambitious and incredibly creative, Aleit Swanepoel is the driving force behind Aleit Wedding Coordination. Apart from holding a business degree and being a member of the Public Relations Institute of South Africa, Aleit boasts years of experience in the events and hospitality industry. Having worked in various upmarket hotels, a five star restaurant as well as South Africa’s largest wine company, he had coordinated over 200 hundred weddings and corporate functions by the time he founded Aleit Wedding and Function Coordination in 2002.

Aleit Wedding and Function Coordination has grown at a phenomenal pace, thanks to Aleit’s vision, his talented and energetic team and the company’s close association with the top venues suppliers in the wedding and events industry. In October 2006 the company became The Aleit Group, consisting of Aleit Wedding Coordination, Aleit Event Projects, Aleit Shop and Aleit Music and Entertainment. In 2007 it launched its first European outlet, Aleit Munich, and Aleit also published his first book, 100 Words about Weddings.

Today Aleit has built a sizeable client base in the UK and the company is the most published wedding and events coordinating company in South Africa, having been featured on numerous high profile national and international magazines and television shows. It is Aleit’s vision for Aleit Wedding Coordination to continue as South Africa’s premier wedding planning agency, marked by his passion for individualised service, attention to detail and undeniable creative flair. 

Hans Roosenschoon - Operational Director

Admired for his business savvy and creative vision, Hans is a master coordinator and strategist. After working part-time in the wine industry and matriculating in 1999, he decided to explore the UK and much of Europe. He soon landed an exciting position in London at a private members club owned by the Virgin Group, which sparked his love for the entertainment industry. At the end of 2000 he returned to Stellenbosch to start a career in the field, managing his own music entertainment company and finding time to complete a B. Mus. Degree in 2005

Hans met Aleit through his involvement in the entertainment industry and they soon realised their mutual values and business interests. “Joining The Aleit Group brought new perspectives and challenges to my life. I have strong natural organizing skills honed through long hours of demanding work.”

Always working in a whirlwind of energy, Hans has helped to expand The Aleit Group’s business frontiers through his leadership qualities and natural sense for business administration. He’s also one of the executive and founding members of Aleit Event Projects, the dynamic corporate events division of The Aleit Group.

Cheri van Staden

Cheri is a vivacious extrovert with all the time in the world for anyone who needs it. Easily approachable, she is also an exceptional romantic. When she met the Man of her dreams in a nightclub in Nelspruit she was shocked, but married him a year later anyway! Spending 3 years thereafter in the UK specialising in weddings, gave her the opportunity to transform the whimsical dreams of her clients into astonishing realities. Having been in and out of the events industry over the past 10 years, owning a Restaurant and being a wife, Cheri brings a refreshing healthy insight and knowledge base to The Aleit Group. "Being part of this inspired and exuberant team gets me out of bed in the morning! The Aleit Group is taking over the world continent by continent and I am proud to be a part of it." When approached by Aleit to join The Aleit Academy, Cheri jumped at the exciting (and daunting!) prospect of being part of the grass-roots of the future of the Events Industry!

Bianca Rijnsburger - Academy Executive

Bianca was born in the heart of the Boland. After matriculating she finished her B.comm degree at the University of Stellenbosch as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Upon completion Bianca tried her hand at teaching at Durbanville High School before deciding that High School again was not for her! She is a loyal, conscientious and extremely organised young woman with a zest for life and a keen interest for all social occasions... Bianca loves interacting with different types of personalities and appreciates the unique qualities of people – working with The Aleit Academy gives her the perfect opportunity to do just that! Her interest in classic style and determination to be surrounded by all things glamorous furthered her excitement to be part of The Aleit Academy family. Bianca's favourite quote just sums her up: "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass....it is about dancing in the rain
